ABOUT WETHRIFT

About Wethrift

We’ve been helping shoppers save at more than 100,000 online stores since 2018. We test coupon codes in real checkouts, keep track of how they hold up, and tell you the honest odds that a code will work.

Why we show you the odds, not a promise

Nobody can promise a coupon code will work. Not us, not anyone. A code might only work on certain products, or for new customers, or until the store quietly switches it off. It can save someone $40 in the morning and be dead by lunch.

So we don’t stamp codes as “working”. We take what we actually know about a code, where it came from, how it has performed in real checkouts, what shoppers have told us, and turn it into a simple answer: the chance it works right now.

A fresh code from a good source starts with a decent chance. Checkout wins and shopper feedback push it up. Failures and silence drag it down. And when the answer is “probably not”, we say that too. An honest no is worth more to you than a fake yes.

No fake "deals"

The codes we list are actual codes. We don't dress up ads as discounts to get you clicking.

We're upfront about money

Wethrift is free. We earn a commission from some stores when you buy through our links. It costs you nothing extra, and we mark the pages where it happens.

We list stores that don't pay us

A lot of coupon sites only cover stores that pay them a commission. Most of the stores on Wethrift earn us nothing. We list them because they might save you money.

No ads, and we never sell your data

We find ads as annoying as you do, and what you buy is your business.

Why we started Wethrift

Wethrift started in 2018 with a familiar frustration: finding a promising coupon code, then watching it fail at the checkout.

We thought shoppers deserved a straight answer. Is there a code that will actually work here, right now? That’s what we built. We test codes in real checkouts, watch how they hold up over time, and show you the odds.

We do it for stores big and small, including plenty that don’t pay us a cent.
